The Dela Paz family apparently started the fight with the Pangandaman group over some violated golf etiquette. The Pangandaman group apparently acted only in self defense.
The Agressors: Dela Paz party comprised of a father and his two teen-aged kids
The Victims: Pangandaman party comprised of three male adults and their armed bodyguards.
Hmmm... what to think about this situation... hmmm... (duh?)
My younger brothers, Jun and Sonny, were quite crazy when they were young. They can maul groups of men at anytime. My mom once confronted 4 tricycle drivers because they ganged up on them but she found that the poor tricycle drivers were the ones all beaten up.

Jun once entered an enemy family's house in the middle of the night. Three brothers with their families lived in that house as well as their parents. You'd think they would defend their home against one person? They would have if it were someone other than Jun Ruiz. They all ran to their rooms

and locked themselves in. He didn't care who or what or how many you were. He got into fights with policemen, teachers, gang leaders and only God knows how he survived. He even got shot during a fight with a policeman. The bullet grazed his temple!

Sonny was more level-headed. He was the one who always tried to calm Jun down to avoid brawls. However, once the brawl started Sonny can be ruthless. He was tall and muscled as a young man with black belts in a couple of violent sports (tae kwon do and another wang chai art plus arnis)

and he used whatever was available as weapons very wisely. Sonny was like the Rock when he was young and he could beat any man to a pulp.
Now... if the Dela Paz party was comprised of my baby brothers, I wouldn't be surprised if they started a fight with a much, much bigger group.
Can you imagine what my suitors went through back then?
