Mating Season

Cukay is in heat again. She's supposed to be fertile and receptive on her 9th day which was yesterday but she let Chikoy mount her last Wednesday. Oh ko! We were unprepared meaning Cukay didn't have diapers and knickers on so my stud had full access. They are sneaky. They go downstairs when we're upstairs and vice versa. Cute.

So! We're whelping in 2 months or so. It will be the last time because I'm having her spayed when she gives birth via CS. Did you know that once a dog delivers via CS, it will be CS every time? Cukay is still a doting mom to her 5-month old sons. She still dashes off to check on them when she hears someone squeal which is usually Mojee because Bawzer bugs him. I discovered that she climbs up on Kayla's study table to fetch the toys perched on the computer and gives them to the boys! Yaya told me that she plucks my fish ref magnets for them to chew on also. Isn't she such a great mom?
Both of them are great parents. When Bawzer bugs Cukay and she starts to get angry, Chikoy pulls her away as if telling her he's a baby, don't hurt him. When Bawzer bugs Chikoy and he starts to get mad, Cukay pulls HIM away. Bawzer is obviously the spoiled little brat. He thinks he owns my lap. He sleeps snuggled up to me and doesn't mind being touched, poked or whatever for as long as his body is against mine. He doesn't even stir.

Soon, my house will be busy with little babies. I wonder how the boys will react to them. I wonder if it will be easier to let them go this time. I doubt it.
