Talking loudly in the lift is so irritating. Are they deaf? Can't they feel their voices reverberating in that small confined space??? Add grammatically wrong English in an American accent and you've got a major irritation.

hahahah, that's probably because spending 6-8 hrs with ear pieces on makes hearing difficult.... as a result... louder voices....
