Cough

Don't you hate coughing? It's so scandalous. It's so disruptive. It can never be ignored! It can never be hidden!

I'm coughing like I'm trying to spit out my guts. My head feels like it will explode. My chest sounds like there's a bee inside that's buzzing around looking for the exit.

You know, I'd trade cough for measles anytime. I got measles at least 5 times in my life. The last one was in 2001 when there was an outbreak in the office. Measles is a nice, lady-like illness. Quiet and refined.

Take my cough away... Gimme measles, puhleezzz!!!

Hmm, maybe I should double my cough syrup dose... hmmm. My friend told me that cough medicine knocks her out... hmmm.
