I finally went to a dermatologist last January to see if my skin can still be saved. Of course, he said. So I have been using special cleansers, toners and creams for almost a year now and I'm happy that the dark splotches on my face are actually fading. I'm not putting on gobs and gobs of concealer anymore.
But hey, I STILL read about sun damage and skin care. My browser bookmark is full of links to beauty and health. There are soooo many solutions and soooo many products... Vitamin A, C, E... AHA... BHA... Arrgghh! I envy those who have beautiful skin. Those who have no enlarged pores, no stretch marks, no freckles. My husband's cousins have baby-soft skin and I look at them to see if it is from not ever having stepped inside a gym... hmp! Noooo. It's genes! Genes!
The moral lesson is protection from the sun is V I T A L. I'm passing on the lesson to my daughter.
